Hello Everyone ♥ :P This post is a very interesting post because it's my very first time experience on IPL. I updated a photo of me with this little monkey few days ago and some of you asking me what's that. I'm actually going to share my first experience on IPL at Strip, Sunway Pyramid♥. Millions thanks to Ms. Paulin for the opportunity :)
So have you heard of IPL before? Hmmm before that I don't know anything about IPL but I saw this word before and I heard about Strip before. I remember the previous Beauty Box I get from Mivva have included a underarm hair waxing treatment and that's my first time heard about Strip.
Stripe established in Singapore with a prominent brand presence. It's a concept waxing store and has grown rapidly since it was launched in Singapore in 2002.They have so many outlet in Malaysia and at the end I went to the Sunway Pyramid♥ outlet . I'm quite surprise with the environment and interior design of a waxing store because it's totally diff than what I expected. They told me that diff outlet have diff design of it and I'm really happy that I choose the first time at Strip Sunway Pyramid :) Actually I choose there because it's the nearer place I can go from my house :P
I think girls need to spend a lot money for their face , skin , body and now even underarm need to take care of it too. Lol At first I don't even know what's IPL but I think it's a kind of hair reduction treatment since Stripe is a concept waxing store. I choose my visit to Sunway Pyramid outlet and it's located on the first floor. A big big money is waiting me to come! Lol
So what is IPL ?

Pulsed Light (IPL) is an advanced semi-permanent hair reduction method♥. Note that it's a semi-permanent method which can permanently reduce your hair and you can have a hair-free situation for about two years (your hair won't grow within this 2 year) but not forever and that's why it's call SEMI-Permanent. IPL uses beams of pulse light to disintegrate unwanted hair from the root.
Now I know why it's call IPL! This technique actually can help delays the growth of new hair and furthermore, a percentage of your hair may not re-grow. At the same time it aids in the lightening of skin pigmentation and aids in diminishing ingrown hair issues.
So maybe you will ask it's same with the laser hair removal?
NO,it's different because IPL is a way more comfortable treatment and it's just took me 15 minutes to complete the whole process of IPL Treatment.
Since it's my first experience I'm always be the same as you :3 I'm very nervous and the moment I step inside the IPL treatment room I'm really worried and I feel like how can I show my underarm hair in front of a girl which I don't know! It's really awkward plus I'm really shy to show my underarm hair since I never do any waxing or treatment before.
Maybe I have too much male hormone my underarm hair is really so many but not really obvious if you stand far from me.HAHAHAH I used to pull it one by one but I realize my underarm skin is really not as smooth as previously :'( I always pull myself stand in front of the mirror until I feel very faint because I spent about 1 hour to make it look really 'clean' without a single hair on my underarm. Lol
My heartbeat quite fast and I really don't know what to say at first but they slowly explain it to me step-by-step and show me some of the photo and guide me throughout the process of IPL treatment. I'm totally so surprise that the girl actually know I feel really shy and nervous and she talk to me alot HAHAHAHAHA then step by step explain to me before she start to do anything to my underarm LOL
It's not as scary as I thought but the process is REALLY DAMN FAST. It took about 15 minutes♥only. It's Hygiene♥ , Fast♥ & Friendly Service♥
Before you sleep on the bed you need to change your cloth to a blue color tube dress then they will knock the door before enter the room. Next, they explain it to you at the same time apply some powder on my underarm.
After that, the girl ask me to wear a black glasses because the Light might will be too bright for our eye so it's better to wear it. ( I feel more secure if I'm wearing the sunglasses because I'm really nervous and don't know what to look for .. so I wear the glasses maybe it covered my eye can reduce my nervousness and also I'm really shy!! HAHAAHHA)
Then , the girl take out a cold ice tube kind of thing , put it on my underarm for few second and at the same time they use the pulse light to disintegrate unwanted hair from the root.
I told you whole process just took me 15 minutes and maybe you will ask is that PAIN?!! I think I pull out myself more pain than this. I didn't feel any pain within this 15 minutes but some part of my underarm which is really sensitive can feel something that like 'ant bite' on my underarm. HAHAHAHA But it's not pain so don't worry because I'M TOTALLY AFRAID OF PAIN happen on my body that's why I'm very weird and feel very awkward before that .
But now I'm really happy♥♥ that my first experience changed my underarm life. HAHAAHA I think I won't be nervous and awkward next time! Thanks Strip♥ for this amazing treatment and guide me all the way :)
After the IPL treatment, they gave me a card which included all things NOT to do after the treatment. For IPL treatment or wax treatment , you can't go to swim after did this treatment if not you might feel itchy on the part you did for the treatment and of course no Hot temperature water when showering.
Oh yea forgot to mention they actually applied a cream which they named it as ICE CREAM on the area I did for their IPL treatment . HAHAHA The name of it is really cute :3
They allowed me to snap some photo of their outlet (Sunway Pyramid)♥to show to my readers. You can make an appointment before you go there because sunway pyramid only have one IPL machine which means that they have only 1 IPL room :) If you didn't make appointment you might need to wait for few minutes. I think wont be so long since the process only took 15 minutes. Teehee
