Celebrating Christmas @ MID VALLEY MEGAMALL

15 December 2017

Hello Sweetie 💕 Just can't wait to share this with you! Yes, I'm back from my Japan trip and just one day before my trip I actually went to Mid Valley Megamall with my brother. I'm so impressed by the Christmas decoration at Mid Valley Megamall. The concept is nice, every corner is a photo and insta worthy spot. Oh yes, of course it's open to public and anyone who visit the mall can easily enter and access these beautiful photo spots. Whether to take a photo with your family, friends or just feel it, I'm sure this is one of the spots that you don't even wish to miss out.

So in this blog post, I'm going to show you exactly how it looks like. Make sure you pay a visit to witness and experience it yourself. There are lots of beautiful Christmas trees, lights and gift redemption as well as interesting activities available for this holiday season. What I love the most is the train station and the free wrapping service for all of us who shop and purchase anything at Mid Valley Megamall.

Are you ready? Let's follow me to enjoy a 'Choo Choo Christmas' at Mid Valley Megamall!

This year, the mall actually came up with a meaningful theme for the holiday season. They know that there’s no place like home – especially at Christmas time. Therefore, Mid Valley Megamall evokes the nostalgia of a traditional homecoming with this year’s theme “Home For Christmas”.

I love the whole concept of going home for Christmas. It's always the best time to go home and gather with loved ones during this festive season. I miss the Christmas dinner with my family! The story behind the train station of this “Home For Christmas” just reminds me of taking the trains home-which is why the train station and trains are the main part of the decoration. At the train station, there are booths selling things which you can bring home for Christmas or as a gift for someone you care for the most.

The journey begins at the railway station in the English countryside, decked in the reds and greens of the season, and alive with the hustle and bustle of festive frolic.

Also, this year they actually did a partnership with HSBC and organise a lot of events such as carollers, performances, freshly-baked cookies, Christmas characters, and even a good insta worthy photo spot with super huge / giant teddies! Of course, Santa will be making regular appearances throughout this period of merriness.

OMG Look how pretty it is! I really love the Christmas lights and everything! Especially the concept  behind all these decorations. Next, for only RM10, the kids and children can have their photo taken with the cute and lovely Santa. The proceeds will be channelled to the Agathian Shelter.

Note that Santa Meet & Greet sessions are from 14th till Christmas Day, at 1pm and 6pm daily, with an additional 3pm session on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. So if you are planning to bring your friends or family here, remember to take note on the time and the meet & greet sessions.

Next, let me show you some of my favourite photo spots. I took quite a number of photos here and I'm really happy that I'm able to make time for this before my trip.

 Happy Girl is Happy!

Also, a nice spot to take your perfect OOTD photo.

Collect these tokens and use them to redeem your preferred gifts at the Christmas Gift Store (Centre Court, Ground Floor).

Other than shopping, free wrapping , and gift redemption, there are other fun activities and workshops available too. You can sign up for festive workshops such as making your own Christmas wreath, a popsicle stick train, learn to bake festive goodies, or make a snowman – all you need to register for these workshops is a minimum spend of RM50 (in a single receipt). Registration can be done on their website.

Last but not least, end your day by watching the Sights & Sounds of Christmas performance. The performances begin at 8pm. Please check appearance dates on the Mid Valley Megamall website too.

Throughout the season, they will also be giving away balloons every day, at 12.30pm and 5.30pm. Keep a look out for the happy bunch on the Ground Floor!
