Hello Sweeties~ I know you missed me a lot, and I'm finally back with lots of useful content to share on my blog. It was a great time to update my little baby diary, share some mama useful hacks, and make recommendations for #ChanwonDieDieMust. While planning for the rest of my content, many of you asked me about some frequently asked questions (FAQs) through my Instagram DM and email. So, I thought, why not post all the information in this post and share the link with those who need it in the future.

So yeah, for those who have followed me for years, you know I'm easily allergic to dust and my skin is quite sensitive. Rashes and itchiness can come back to me quite often if I don't keep myself clean or the environment. That's one of the reasons why I always look for something that is gentle and suitable for my sensitive skin.  

Then, I gave birth to our daughter Reii. Most of the time, I really worry about her getting rashes on her skin or face. Therefore, I did a lot of research on the baby products and brands that I bought and used on her skin. As she's just two months old, which is considered a newborn baby, their skin can easily get redness and become dry. So what's the product that is suitable for super sensitive newborn skin? Even baby clothes need to be washed separately with non-chemical detergent and all that. So basically, that's always my main concern.

So, I asked my friends for their must-have baby products and brands, and the first thing they mentioned was the must-try Suzuran Baby Wet Cleaning Cotton. They said it's the best one ever, and they even use it on their baby's mouth. That's how I learned about their famous baby Wet Cleaning Cotton.  I also remember seeing this brand, like, a lot of times when I wanted to send some practical and useful baby gifts to my friends. As for their cleaning products, I want to give a big shoutout to both the Wet Cleaning Cotton and the Antibacterial Cut Cotton.

I'm using both of these products on my baby, and so far (touch wood) she hasn't developed any rashes on her skin or face. I'm really satisfied with the results and until now still using it every day to clean her. During my postpartum period, since I had a c-section, I also used both products to clean my wound and ensure that it healed nicely and cleanly.

In short, other than using it to clean on our baby's mouth and tongue, these cotton pads are designed to be used for multiple cleaning purposes, such as:-

1. • Clean other sensitive areas such as eyes and ear
2. • Can be use to clean nipples and finger before / after breastfeeding (on mama)

Also can use to clean genital area whenever you need on baby or if you are natural birth mama, this is also one of the must-have too.

Another #ChanwonTips (2) on mama: Use to remove makeup 

Discover this when I forgot to bring my cotton pad to remove my makeup during my confinement period. So I took one of it and use it on me, I'm loving the size of it. Just equal to 4x normal facial cotton pad and once you pour your makeup remover on it, omg the size just perfectly remove all my based makeup, sunblock, foundation and also lipstick color. It can be tear off into 2 thin layers too. 

In short, Antibacterial Cut Cotton is really useful on :-

1. Prenatal/post-physiological cleaning 
2. Cleaning wounds 
3. Use as cosmetic pads (facial cotton) 
4. Cleaning baby’s genitals and diaper area when changing diaper (recommend to use with lukewarm water when cleaning baby) 

Also I just found out another #ChanwonTips (3) especially during hot weather now. OMG the weather this month is super duper hot until my skin once again discover rashes and red patches around my neck. So with the cooling effect of this wet Antibacterial Cut Cotton (just mix with water), it help to soothe skin irritation and provide relief from itching or discomfort caused by heat rash or other skin conditions. 

Really so itchy and I try my best not to scratch on it.

Next #ChanwonTips (4)  comes in handy as well when my baby girl get high temperature after vaccination few days ago. Doc advice us to monitor our baby temperature and the next day her body temperature slightly increase and I quickly use this Antibacterial Cut Cotton by wetting it with water and placed on her forehead. Can be used as a cold compress to help reduce fever or relieve the discomfort too. 

It's always good to have multi-purpose products that can come in handy in different situations.

| (3) Suzuran Baby Gauze Handkerchief  

Other than the Wet Cleaning Cotton and the Antibacterial Cut Cotton, the handkerchief from Suzuran Baby is also one of my favorites, and I would recommend it to all mothers. Before giving birth to our little daughter, I thought that having 10-15 pieces of handkerchiefs would be more than enough for daily usage and that I could clean them. However, the reality was that it was never enough, so my advice is to get as many as possible. Also, when it comes to cleaning and daily use, it's advisable to use handkerchief which has higher absorption level, easier to dry and more breathable one.

After having so many diff kind of handkerchief, I can tell you that my top pick is still belong to Suzuran Baby one because it's fully made with 100% pure cotton, easier to clean and dries quickly, ultra-lightweight, highly absorbent + breathable and one main reason I'm loving it will be the larger surface as compared to normal handkerchief.

I bought so many cute one but at the end Suzuran Baby handkerchief with larger surface still works better to clean the mess and use it as a burp cloth.

Since it comes in different colors, I might as well use it in such way to serve different purposes. For instance, yellow handkerchiefs are used for general purposes such as cleaning up spills and wiping your baby's face. Burning midnight oil and sharing all my #ChanwonTips and Chanwon's itinerary with you guys. I'm gonna share my happy tears with you guys because finally borders are open and we can now travel abroad after 2 years of lockdown due to the pandemic. So you can expect that this trip gonna be super fun, interesting and meaningful to me. I tried so many new things throughout my Switzerland trip and it was my first time walking into a real postcard scenery and everything is just so unreal to me.

Hello my dear sweeties ✨ Welcome back to my blog and finally I can share this with you guys. Been waiting for my customised sofa for months and finally it was delivered to my house few weeks ago. I wanted to wait until I got my new carpet then only share with you the final photo but it's still stuck at the warehouse lol. I can no longer hide my excitement and wait for it so today I decided to show you...NOW!

For those who followed me on my #ChanwonHOME journey on both instagram and blog, you must be knowing that I have always wanna to get a new sofa for my living area because the old one which I bought from Taobao previously isn't comfortable and the seat depth just so wrong for us. We can't nap on our previous sofa and can't even sit there for more than 1 hour as the seat depth itself isn't the best for our body size. The cushion itself was terrible, like once you sit there for more than an hour, your ass can feel numb on it lol. I bought it because I thought it was pretty for my space and now I'm regretting it lol. Please don't repeat the same mistake like I did.

So happy that I finally can reveal all the behind the scene of my latest collaboration with born to be. It was all the hard work from each of the team behind this yearly collaboration project. It suppose to be launch on the beginning of 2021 but due to the continuously lockdown period and pandemic, it keeps delay and postpone until the final launch at the end of 2021. I was so worried at first but thank god everything goes well after that and then we can proceed to the official video and photo content shoot and events too.

Time flies, I thought my 2021 gonna be quite empty without any highlight as almost half of the year we have been dealing with fews lockdown but thing proved me wrong, we did something crazy and meaningful. It was such a happy collaboration after all. Everyone who contributed for this special collaboration project was so happy after the official launch and WE DID IT all together. Now is time to reveal everything here. The story behind this born to be collaboration project.

Throwback to the beginning of this whole collaboration, I remember it was my very first time trying on born to be mask which recommended by one of my friend because she knows that I love beauty mask a lot. I always love recommending new mask that I love on my stories, so she told me the brand would love me to give it a try and share my review. As my skin turned really fragile this few years, I now rarely let my skin try on new beauty or skincare products unless I check carefully the ingredients and so on. After consider it and at that time my skin experiencing terrible redness, itchy and breakout, I decided to give it a try because my friend told me that this anti-acne can instantly reduce the redness and calm my skin.

My skin doesn't feel like mine sometimes. It can't always be perfect everyday and when my lifestyle and work cause me so much stress, it seems to reflect on my skin right away. Honestly, I have tried aloe vera and other beauty masks in the market, it stills not as good as this born to be which I can spot the different instantly after using it.

We had a good chat on the day we met. After getting knowing the brand better, and the founder told me if I have any ideas in my mind which can be something related with my yearly collaboration project, like those I did in the past. Surprisingly she do follow me on my social media platforms and read my blog previously, it's why she noticed my special yearly collaboration project. My brain was stunned and you have no idea how happy I am as it's a big steps for me. I'm so happy that she is interested to work with me and then we started it from the conversation. 

Then we have back to back meetings after all and turned out I have this opportunity to work with them. The ideas behind the whole project, the video and photo direction are part of my job scope and I was really happy during each meetings with them. They are really friendly and nice, from the direction to the quality of the packaging box as well as the portrait painting. The portrait artwork was done by one of the artist from Taiwan. It's founder's friends and we have been do over again and again because the artist couldn't meet us physically, she has to go-back-to-the-drawing-board again and again to revise it. Just the artwork itself took around 2 months.

What making it even exciting was, this time it's not just me alone but with 3 more talented ambassadors. I'm so looking forward on this as I always looking forward to create new things and meeting with new people. So the friend who recommended this mask to me joined this special project too! There are DJ, Emcee host and also singer who joined this special collaboration too. Then upon discussing the collaboration I was thinking something interesting like how if we can have our face on the mask and each different represent diff character. So I choose my favourite range out of the rest, which is anti-acne of course, then born to be team said YES! yay!!

After all, we then have more discussion on the content direction, marketing plan while they also at the same time having rebrand on their website, and discussion with photography and videography team too. Sourcing the venue for the shoot and dealing with postpone and delay due to the lockdown. I'm glad everything goes well at the end of the launching date.

I love the mask cloth and each time after use, my skin won't feel greasy and sticky at all. It's non-sticky and fast absorption too. When I spot there is any remains serum in each pack of the mask, I will apply it all over my knee or neck area. Just don't waste it. 

- THE SHOOT -

Apart from the mask itself, let me share some behind-the-scene photo with you during the shoot. We have our zoom meeting discussion from time to time and finally after the end of the lockdown, we are able to go outdoor for some shoot and meeting all of them for the first time. Thankful that we all have the best photography and videography team ever. We have all our story board ready and MUA also come on time with us, so our shoot is really success. 

It was such a fruitful and productive day. Although I feel so tired after the shoot because it's been a long time that we can't able to have any outdoor shoot. The sun happily greet us with the perfect weather too.

After each of our solo shoot in the morning, we then gather everyone at the same shooting venue. It's a completely new venue, cozy like our home and my heart feel so full after we done with the shoot. I'm really loving my job and the lockdown making me so depress because I can't stick with my plan, can't go out to have shoot, can't travel and everything have to be complete at home. I'm like some sort of losing my creativity to do all my work at home. So when I done with the shoot, I was like I really miss working with a huge team like this.

Previously all yearly special project was me and the brand team alone. But now it's working with a group of talented girls. I love how we influence each others and able to share new knowledge and discussion together too. I had a blast during the day we met on the shoot, it was a morning 7am shoot until at night. Tiring but meaningful and fun. Tbh, I do enjoy team work than just solo work. It always create new things and sparks when I'm working with a group of people.
